Trey Chapman is a New York–based film director, screenwriter, and producer whose work blends elevated genre with intimate, character-driven storytelling. His short film Rent Boy (2025), a psychological thriller starring Devin Druid (13 Reasons Why), premiered at Palm Springs International ShortFest and screened at HollyShorts. His earlier short film Rosewood Ledge (2019), a slow-burn mystery starring Kristin Rudrüd (Fargo), premiered at the Fargo Film Festival.
Alongside his directing work, he has built a career as a commercial editor for Fortune 500 brands and A-list talent.
He is currently developing his debut feature Shadow, a supernatural horror set in Bali, with U.S. and international producers. He is also developing a slate of psychological thrillers and high-concept genre films.
