Trey Chapman is a New York–based film director, screenwriter, and producer whose work blends elevated genre with intimate, character-driven storytelling. His short Rent Boy (2025), a surreal thriller starring Devin Druid (13 Reasons Why), premiered at Palm Springs International ShortFest and screened at HollyShorts. His earlier film, Rosewood Ledge (2019), is a quiet, slow-burn mystery.
His films are defined by psychological tension and atmosphere. Alongside his directing work, he has built a career as a commercial editor for Fortune 500 brands and A-list talent.
He is currently developing his debut horror feature Shadow, set in Bali, with U.S. and international producers.
